With Liverpool still arguably yet to replace Luis Suarez with a like-for-like replacement, manager Brendan Rodgers could make the 'marquee signing' fans are dreaming about by landing Paris Saint-Germain's prolific goalscorer Edinson Cavani. Cavani is currently at loggerheads with PSG and has just completed a difficult debut season with the Paris outfit. Reports continue to swirl that he has already grown disillusioned in France and is unhappy with having to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. According to the Mirror the ex-Napoli man is set for showdown talks with PSG and is hoping he can force through an exit at the club, with Manchester United monitoring ongoing developments. Liverpool too could take advantage of the drama, and could offer the striker Champions League football - giving them a distinct advantage over the Red Devils in the chase for the South American, who scored 16 Ligue 1 goals in 30 appearances last season. Cavani would be a wonderful replacement for Suarez, and it could be one Uruguayan out, one Uruguayan in at Anfield this summer.
