Liverpool Transfers: 5 Wingers To Sign Now Theo Walcott Is Unavailable

4. Scott Sinclair

Scott Sinclair may only just have signed a four-year deal at Manchester City in August 2012 but you have to question whether joining the Premier League Champions was the right move for the England winger. With the likes of Samir Nasri and David Silva ahead of him on the flanks, he really isn't going to get much game time at the Etihad - in fact he hasn't played a full game for City so far this season and looks very much a fringe player. It is a shame considering he was so prolific at Swansea, where he scored 28 goals from 82 games. There is a definite feeling that his talents are being wasted at the Etihad. Liverpool were monitoring the winger last July and were thought to be contemplating making an offer for the £6 million rated midfielder but ended up losing out to City. He would certainly get a lot more playing time at Anfield though and Rodgers might not be deterred from making a bid, though probably not until the summer window. Source(s): Daily Mail
