Liverpool Transfers: 6 Last-Minute Alternatives To Yevhen Konoplyanka

6. Nacer Chadli

With a move for Yevhen Konoplyanka beginning to look less and less likely, Liverpool have reportedly switched their attentions to Tottenham's Nacer Chadli. Chadli has struggled for fitness and form since joining the Premier League side last summer and has been in and out of the side at various stages under both Andre Villas-Boas and Tim Sherwood. As such he was offered up to Swansea on loan but the Welsh club have thus far been unsuccessful in their pursuit, with Sherwood saying no more stars will be loaned out now that Lewis Holtby has joined Fulham. That's not to say a permanent move isn't on the cards though and while it may seem fanciful at this stage so suggest Chadli could be set to pack his bags for Merseyside, such a scenario shouldn't be discounted. The 24-year-old appears to be deemed surplus to requirement at White Hart Lane and if Liverpool are looking at alternatives to Konoplyanka he'd be a good place to start.
