2. Ahmed Musa
Since Brendan Rodgers took over as Liverpool manager last year they have tended to sign younger players with a lot of potential. A player who would fit that profile is CSKA Moscows 20-year-old forward Ahmed Musa. Much like Vela, Musa can play all three forward positions and would fit into the Liverpool style perfectly. Last season Musa scored 15 goals in 35 appearances despite playing out-wide for the majority of the season. Another trait Rodgers is looking for in any future players is a winning mentality and Musa already has that, despite his tender age. He has already won the Russian Premier League, the Russian Cup, the Russian Super Cup and the African Cup of Nations with Nigeria. If Rodgers could improve Musas composure and finishing in front of goal Liverpool would have a real talent of their hands, if they were lucky enough to get him.
