Liverpool Transfers: 6 Raheem Sterling Replacements
6. Marco Reus - Dortmund
Quite simply, Marco Reus is world class. If Liverpool were to secure the German's signature the name Raheem Sterling would drift down the M62 motorway faster than a Bugatti Veyron. And it just might happen. According to Metro, Liverpool are preparing to make a sensational £46 million offer for the Dortmund attacker in order to replace Raheem Sterling. Reus scored 11 goals in 29 games for Die Borussen last season and despite his side underachieving he once again demonstrated his undeniable quality. He is currently one of the most sought after players in Europe and despite signing a new contract earlier this year, the club are reportedly willing to accept bids of around £40 million for their star man. Liverpool's lack of Champions League football could prove to be a stumbling block but if the club mange to convince the German to sign he would certainly help the Reds get back to playing at the highest level.
