Following his PFA Player of the Year Award win, Liverpool’s Mo Salah is set to be the subject of a monumental transfer offer from Real Madrid.

According to reports in Spain’s Diario Gol, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is prepared to offer the Merseyside club £123m plus the services of Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos.

Having scored an astonishing 41 goals in his debut season at Liverpool, Salah has attracted a number of overseas suitors, but Real Madrid are reported to be at the front of the queue should Liverpool look to cash in on their prize asset.

Perez hopes to appeal to Liverpool’s existing interest in both Ceballos and Modric, plus a sizeable cash sum, in order to land Salah. Ceballos, a star of Spain’s under-21 squad, has been repeatedly highlighted as one of Klopp’s top targets this summer.

After losing key players Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona in the last few seasons, the club are unlikely to sanction a deal, however wether the player wishes to move to Spain will play an important role in proceedings.

With a historic World Cup campaign looming for Salah, Madrid will likely need to wait until later in the summer to conduct any business.
