Team News
Liverpool have Martin Skrtel available again after the defender picked up a knee injury but he will likely start on the bench, while Daniel Sturridge has recovered from a thigh injury, and will likely start, having missed the 4-0 win over Wigan. Joe Allen will probably be the man he replaces. Fabio Borini, Martin Kelly and Brad Jones are all out. Tottenham may be without Aaron Lennon, who had to be substituted in the Europa League tie against Inter Milan with a hamstring injury. Tom Huddlestone and Clint Dempsey are also still doubts heading into this game, while long-term absentees Sandro and Younes Kaboul remain out. Good news for Spurs is that both Emmanuel Adebayor and Moussa Dembele should be fit and will travel to Anfield. Source:

Match Preview
Many will see this match as the battle between arguably the Premier League's two best players - Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale - but for the teams it is much more important than that. Liverpool will see this match as key to their slim hopes of making a late push for a top four position, while a win for Spurs will see them consolidate their third placed position and take a 5 point lead over Chelsea, who are not in league action this weekend. Spurs have won their last four games in the league, a run which includes winning their last two away matches, while Liverpool have enjoyed two wins in a row and will be hoping for a third. A sensational 3-0 win over Inter Milan in the Europa League on Thursday will ensure that Spurs are high on confidence, but Liverpool will see this as a chance to take advantage of some potentially tired legs amongst the ranks of the men from White Hart Lane. It should be a cracker.
