Liverpool's Champions League Winning Side: Where Are They Now?

Striker - Milan Baros

The Czech Republic international operated as the lone striker in Istanbul and worked tirelessly in occupying the mighty defensive figures of Jaap Stam and Alessandro Nesta.

Yet despite a formidable international goal-scoring tally, with 41 goals in 93 appearances, Baros failed to replicate this form in a red shirt and was subsequently offloaded to Aston Villa in 2005.

Baros travelled Europe after exiting Anfield, appearing for Lyon, Galatasaray and currently Banik Ostrava in his native Czech league.

Baros was alleged to have dropped and dented the holy grail of the Champions League trophy in the club€™s post-match celebrations - but all can be forgiven for his efforts on that incredible night in Istanbul.
