Man City: 5 Best Ever Foreign Players

4. Shaun Goater

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2xHBGHez6g Shaun Goater (now with MBE after his name) could never be called an artistic footballer, but once you have an adoptive name (The goat) or a song (Feed the Goat and He Will Score), you know that you have the affections of the fans behind you. Born in Bermuda, it can be argued that because City actually bought him from Bristol City, he was not really an import as such. But that is probably splitting hairs, and anyway, he was one of my all time favourites! His five years with the Blues produced over a hundred personal goals, so maybe his lack of other skills were overlooked and forgiven.
