Man City: 5 Reasons Mancini Would Be Mad To Sell Balotelli

2. He Can Do The Unpredictable

Carlos Tevez runs around like a Tasmanian Devil, Edin Dzeko is the target man, Aguero the goal scorer, but Balotelli brings something different €“ unpredictability. The opposition never know what he might do next, neither do the fans, his team mates or his manager. At any given moment he can make himself or a defender look silly. Plans can be made to neutralize City€™s other strikers, however nothing can stop Mario Balotelli except Balotelli himself. He also brings entertainment to football. The €˜Why always me?€™ t-shirt is now an iconic image, the tap in against Norwich executed with the shoulder delighted fans and appalled (some idiotic) pundits. His exploits in Manchester and back in Italy make front page headlines and, for the neutral at least, makes you laugh, regardless of how true they may actually be. When the quality of the Premier League is being questioned, it is refreshing to have a flair player who goes from the sublime to the ridiculous in the flash of a paparazzi's camera. For such an emotional coach like Mancini, this type of player keeps the heart pumping, the touchline gestures coming, and you get the feeling Mancini enjoys having a terror like Balotelli in his camp. It€™s almost a love-hate relationship.
