Man City 6-0 Spurs: Player Ratings

Paulinho: Best of a bad bunch on this away day disaster for Tottenham. Relished the battle with Toure and showed all his box-to-box abilities here.Willing to try something, but subbed by AVB on the hour. 6/10.

Sandro: Massive tackle on Nasri when he was racing clear. Picked up a customary booking. Diverted Negredo shot in from very close range. 5/10. Aaron Lennon: Back at home on the right flank after a disastrous experiment down the other side, but rarely found. Had a day to forget. 4/10. Lewis Holtby: Supposed to be the link between midfield and attack, yet more often than not passed backwards. Subbed at half time. On this form Jurgen Klinsmann has more chance of a recall by Germany. Extremely disappointing. 2.5/10. Erik Lamela: Almost profited from Demichelis's error, shot cleared by same player though. Played wide left, but that aside did nothing. Spurs fans left scratching their heads as to why AVB preferred him to Andros Townsend. 3.5/10. Roberto Soldado: Still has no service and the only noteworthy thing he did was come off. Why did Tottenham pay all that money and then refuse to play to his strengths? 3/10. Subs: Emmanuel Adebayor: Came on at half time, but just ran about briefly. No link up with Soldado at all. 3/10. Gylfi Sigurdsson: Given half an hour and anonymous yet again. 3/10. Mousa Dembele: Just the same as Sigurdsson. 3/10. Who was your man of the match? Have your say below.
