Man City: Is It Really A Crisis For Joe Hart?

Competition

For both England, and Manchester City, Joe Hart is accordingly under threat as of his form. Butare his replacement's of enough quality to make Joe worry? For Manchester City, you have Costil Pantilimon, the 26 year old Romanian they signed from Timisoara. Costil has only played a handful for Manchester City in the 2 years he has present at the club and is somebody Mancini only entrusted with cup-ties. Pellegrini made it obvious he is concerned about Hart's performances as of late, and may give Costil a run-out in the league soon, but I'm sure that if you were to ask Manchester City fans who they would rather have in net against the topflight teams, it would be Hart hands down. The England debate is one which is more outspoken and has been the subject of many arguments, with many people thinking that Frazer Forster is the man for the job. Personally, I don't get it. England never lost in the qualifying stages of the World Cup, and our back line has looked more sound than ever. I think there is a real sync between Cahill, Jagielka, and Hart in the same side. Forster, as you may or may not know, plays for Celtic, who reside in the Scottish Premier League. This is one of the very reasons he is overlooked. He is playing in a somewhat mediocre league which they dominate every season, and has only put in 2 world beating performances against one top club, Barcelona. Hart is playing in the best league in the world, he is opposed by some of the best players in the world, week after week. Forster, on the other hand, finds himself against the players of Partick thistle, and Kilmarnock. It 'shouldn't' be a reason to belittle his performances, but it is taken on board because when you play for your country, you play against the top tier players for that country. Not the Shadrach Dingle's of the world.
