Man City Transfer News: Inter Milan Want Carlos Tevez?

CalcioMercato. The 29 Argentine has been linked with a move away from the Etihad ever since 2011 when he appeared to refuse to play against Bayern Munich in a Champions League clash, and though relations with manager Roberto Mancini have since cooled, the exit door could now beckon as the Italian prepares a summer reshuffle. The former West Ham and Manchester United ace has now emerged as a transfer target for Italian giants Inter Milan, who are keen to bring a proven goalscorer to the San Siro this summer. Nerazzurri boss Andrea Stramaccioni has drawn up a list of potential targets and Tevez joins the likes of Sampdoria forward Mauro Icardi and Barcelona€™s Alexis Sanchez in being earmarked. City would demand a hefty fee for their star, who cost them around £30 million. The Argentine's stay in England has been a controversial one. There were concerns over third-party ownership when he joined West Ham from Corinthians in 2006 and he left Man United for derby rivals Man City in 2009, becoming the first player in a decade to move between the two sides. A sign taunting United reading "Welcome to Manchester" and featuring an image of Tevez was later unveiled, bringing simmering tensions between the two clubs to the boil.
