Intriguingly, Carlos Tevez' potential exit to AC Milan could trigger the arrival of Stephan El Shaarawy, dubbed "The Pharaoh" in Italy. The 20-year old could find playing time limited next season if Carlos Tevez joins Mario Balotelli in attack at the San Siro and manager Massimiliano Allegri would struggle to keep all three strikers happy. One way around that problem is for the City and Milan to agree a part-exchange deal that would see Tevez replaced by the youngster in a like-for-like swap deal,
which has been proposed. The youngster scored 19 goals in 46 appearances last season, an impressive return for someone so young, but Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has hinted that he could be sold to City if they press ahead with their pursuits of Tevez. Switching a 29-year old for a 20-year old would seem to be a good bit of business on City's behalf and a deal could go through if they offer £21 million plus the Apache.
