5. Marco Reus
For all City's attacking players - and they have a wealth of options in Samir Nasri, David Silva, Jesus Navas and Sergio Aguero - they don't actually have a world quality attacking midfielder. Nasri has at times ran both hot and cold and has been prone to spells of ineffectiveness, with former manager Roberto Mancini saying at one point that he
wanted to punch the French international. Indeed, he has been tipped for the chop this summer. In Navas and Silva City have two quality wingers and a lot of flair on the flanks but not a proven, goal-scoring central midfielder. That could be where Marco Reus comes in. The Borussia Dortmund man scored 19 times for the German outfit last season and
has been linked with a big-money move to the Etihad this summer. If, as expected, Scott Sinclair joins Nasri in leaving this summer, there would be plenty of room for Reus, though he'd likely cost £32 million.
