4. Alexis Sanchez
Another option for Pellegrini in attacking midfield is Barcelona's Alexis Sanchez. Following Barca's humiliating exit from the Champions League against Bayern Munich earlier this season, the Spanish giants are thought to be planning a big overhaul and Sanchez is just one of the flops
they'd be glad to see the back of. The Chilean international only scored eight times last season and the La Liga champions are willing to sell, with City one of those thought to be interested. He could link up at the Etihad with compatriot Pellegrini, and a move to Manchester - and a fresh start in England - may be appealing. Sanchez can play as a forward and also as an attacking midfielder and this versatility would provide Pellegrini with a wealth of attacking options next season.
