Man City Transfers: 5 Strikers Manuel Pellegrini Could Sign Now Falcao Is Unavailable

4. Marco Reus

Having seen his side cruelly dumped from the Champions League this season at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals thanks in part to a 90th minute Marco Reus strike, outgoing Malaga boss Pellegrini could test Jurgen Klopp's resolve with a big money bid this summer as he begins his summer revolution at the Etihad. City are reportedly plotting a £32 million bid for the German forward, and are even prepared to double his £60,000-per-week wages. Reus has been outstanding for Dortmund this season and has netted 19 times in all competitions, and though he only joined from Borussia Mönchengladbach last summer, City are prepared to test the waters with a large cash offer. Sources mention Reus is reticent to leave the club, though Dortmund may struggle to resist a mega bid for him.
