5. His Younger Brother Used To Be Better Than Him
Bruno is not the only Zuculini to ply his trade in Europe, with older brother Franco until recently turning out for Spanish side Real Zaragoza. The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Argentine side Racing, like Bruno, and was a superb talent even at a young age, like Bruno, and to top it off plays as a defensive midfielder, like Bruno. The younger of the two brothers will hope that is where the similarities end however, as Franco's arrival in Europe meant a downturn in his career. After moving to German side Hoffenheim, Franco spent two years on loan at Genoa and Real Zaragoza in Italy and Spain respectively, and then moved on a permanent basis to Zaragoza last season after being released by Hoffenheim. The Argentina international was then let go by the Spanish side when they were relegated from La Liga, and he is currently searching for a club. For a moment however, there was a chance of him succeeding in Europe. Bruno would do well to avoid the same fate that befell his brother, but a move to City at first glance seems the most inappropriate move for a young player. The midfielder will at first find his first team chances limited, and could end up having a spell at another English club whilst he acclimatises himself with the Premier League. Whilst his older brother went for a more modest move when he chose to leave Racing, Bruno has gone straight in at the deep end, and will have to hit the ground running to restore pride in the Zuculini household.
