Staking his case for a starting position at Tottenham at the start of the season, at the close of 2015 he must surely have been the first name on the team sheet. Commanding performances, spectacular goals, and even senior England caps have already made this an incredible season for Alli, and this summer will surely see a host of the world's top clubs falling over themselves for his signature. But, as with the John Stones situation, Manchester City find themselves in the strongest position of any other Premier League's top sides. Their manager is - despite a landslide of conjecture - still in a full-time job at the club with eyes on its long-term success.
