Man Ud Transfers: 5 Players Louis Van Gaal Could Sign To Break British Record
3. Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba is one of the most in-demand midfielders at present following his rise to prominence at Juventus and impressive World Cup campaign with France, and is on the radar of a number of clubs this summer - including Manchester United. Pogba of course spent three years at United after coming through their youth ranks before leaving in 2012 - but could be set for a return. For that to happen though the Red Devils would need to part with a sizable stack of cash - not just because of the player's form over the last 12 months, either. French money-bags Paris Saint Germain are set to inflate Pogba's market value by launching a monster £60 million bid this summer, meaning United would have to compete with the profligate Ligue 1 outfit if they are to bring their former star 'back home'. It's debatable if Pogba is worth £60 million. Still only 21, he isn't yet the finished article. However, he is better than any of United's current batch of central midfielders and would certainly offer his former club more of an attacking edge next season, having scored seven Serie A goals for Juve last term.
