As stated, van Gaal is a known disciplinarian and falling out with players is an occurrence that is prone to happening under his management. The Dutchman has had disagreements with Luca Toni, Franck Ribery and Lucio, among others. One thing that is for certain, is the players at United will be fully behind Giggs. Having played 963 games for the Red Devils, the midfielder is an absolute legend at Old Trafford, commanding the respect of every member of the squad. Following his sacking, it became clear that David Moyes lost key figures in the dressing room and with Giggs around van Gaal must be careful that the same split does not occur during his tenure. Otherwise, as Moyes found out, van Gaal could find that the dressing room is no longer supporting him.
