The man between the sticks is arguably the most important player to a football team. David De Gea has only recently taken over from Edwin Van Der Sar but he has made an immediate impact. Crucial saves such as the last minute stop against Chelsea in the 3-3 encounter last season is just one of many moments De Gea has saved United. With Anders Lindegaard the next in line to wear the keeper jersey if David De Gea takes a knock, Manchester United will be in the hands of a less talented goalkeeper. No disrespect to Lindegaard but when it comes to crucial saves, De Gea is stronger between the sticks.
