2. Gabriel Obertan
Gabriel Obertan arrived at Old Trafford from Bordeaux in 2009 but scarcely set the Premier League alight throughout his two seasons at the club. The Frenchman joined United on a four-year deal but he didn't last that long as he put in several gutless displays. Though he was imbued with pace and speed, finishing he was not and he ended up scoring just the one goal in his 28 appearances for the club before Ferguson had at last seen enough and flogged him to Newcastle in 2011. He has gone one better at St James' Park by scoring a dizzying two goals for Alan Pardew's side, but has only made 23 appearances this term.
