Man Utd: 5 Huge Mistakes David Moyes Keeps Making

2. Poor Substitutions

Some of David Moyes's tactical decisions this season have been very strange. We've already discussed the misguided decision to play Rio Ferdinand alongside Nemanja vidic too frequently, along with the decision to haul Kagawa off at half time against West Brom. But that's not all. In that same game, Alex Buttner and Anderson were selected and both were found badly wanting, with Buttner ran ragged by Amalfitano and an unfit -looking Anderson unable to keep up with Yacob and Mulumbu. It's also odd, especially given the woeful inadequacies of United's wingers this season, that new boy Wilfried Zaha hasn't been given a chance to impress following his arrival from Crystal Palace. There's talk of the wide man going back out on loan in January which means Moyes must be pleased with what he has on the flanks - which he surely shouldn't be.
