3. David Bellion
Shortly before signing for Manchester United in 2003, critics were singing David Bellion's praises, with the
Telegraph writing at the time that he was a "dead ringer for Thierry Henry". Quite the compliment, given Henry is a Champions League and World Cup winner, and widely considered Arsenal football club's greatest player of all time. However, despite the then-20-year-old Bellion putting in some impressive performances for Sunderland before his arrival at United, and scoring four goals for the club, he was never able to emulate the aforementioned great. The French striker, who has never even been capped by his country, and was sold to Nice after three seasons at the Theatre of Dreams. Today, he can be found playing for Bordeaux.
