Man Utd: 5 Reasons David Moyes Should Be Sacked Immediately

4. Change Can Be Positive

As crazy as this may sound, United could learn a thing or two from their rivals Chelsea during these turbulent times. It may not seem like following the blueprint of Blues owner Roman Abramovich and pulling the trigger on an ailing boss midway through a season is a particularly good way of going about things, but such methods have reaped good results at Stamford Bridge in the past. In June 2011, Andre Villas-Boas was named Chelsea manager but lasted less than a year, sacked by the Blues and replaced by Roberto Di Matteo on March 4 2012. And it was one of the best decisions Abramovich ever made. Little was expected of Di Matteo yet he salvaged Chelsea's flagging season by leading them to an FA Cup and Champions League double - proof that change can be a good thing, however ruthless it may seem. Perhaps the United hierarchy should take heed of this.
