Man Utd: 5 Reasons David Moyes Should Be Sacked Immediately

3. Zero Track Record Of Success

When the great, inimitable Sir Alex Ferguson retired from football management last May, the hunt was on for his successor. Big names were linked with the big job, such as Jose Mourinho, then of Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp. Both have achieved success in their line of work, with Mourinho winning the Champions League twice and Klopp leading Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles and to the 2013 Champions League Final. In the end the job went to Moyes, a manager with zero track record for success, unlike his esteemed contemporaries, and whose biggest achievement to date is winning the Community Shield. It remains baffling that the man chosen to replace one of the single-most successful managers in the history of English football was a man who has won virtually nothing. Occasionally finishing fifth with the Toffee's may have been seen as an admirable achievement during his days at Goodison Park, but at Old Trafford, fifth isn't even the bare minimum. United need a manager who has proven himself in football and can bring success to the club as Ferguson once did, and that man is not Moyes.
