Antonio Valencia has been a stalwart for United since signing in 2009 and last year, even won Manchester United's player of the year award. However, the Ecuadorian has seen his stock fall considerably this year due to poor showings and a lack of confidence. This season, he has hardly started a game in the league and has fallen behind Ashley Young and even Danny Welbeck. This could be a blessing for Nani, who many expected to leave United last summer. With Valencia in such poor form, a good end to the season could convince Sir Alex to instead sell the Ecuadorian and keep his immensely talented enigma.
