The simple fact of the matter is that United have much better attacking midfielders at present than Nani. Shinji Kagawa is beginning to show just why Ferguson paid £12 million to take him from Borussia Dortmund last summer as he decimated Norwich in March. Meanwhile, Antonio Valencia's versatility and ability to play both on the wing and as a fullback lends Ferguson more options than Nani, while Ashley Young has also been preferred by the veteran manager on the flanks. With three candidates for the two wide positions ahead of him, Nani is finding it increasingly difficult to break back into the fold, and by the time Wilfried Zaha arrives from Crystal Palace in the summer, that task will become even harder...
