2. Robin van Persie Is Exerting Himself More
Manchester United have played more games than Liverpool this season. They have had a longer run than their counterparts in the FA Cup and are still in contention in Europe, and while the Anfield outfit only have Premier League fixtures to concentrate on, United could have 5 more Champions League games and two more FA Cup games to play if all goes according to plan, meaning the Red Devils will have played 18 games to Liverpool's remaining nine between now and the end of the season. Robin van Persie is practically guaranteed to be an integral figure should any such (albeit hypothetical) scenario come to fruition, meaning he will have exerted himself over a longer period of time than Suarez. And if the Dutchman can help his side to a historic treble this season, can there really be any serious arguments as to who the best player in England is? I would suggest not.
