Manchester City's title defence suffered a withering blow on the South Coast in February when they were humiliated by relegation haunted Southampton by falling to a shocking 3-1 defeat. Puncheon first put their visitors on the back foot by prodding into an open goal after just 7 minutes and Steven Davis capitalised on a Joe Hart error to make it 2-0 just after the 20 minute mark.
