5. His First United Goal - December 1994
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhmCfOrTwNM Of the famous Class of 92 which featured the likes of Gary Neville , Nicky Butt and Ryan Giggs, David Beckham was the last of the trio to announce himself on the world stage. Beckham had made his debut when he featured against Brighton in a League Cup tie two years prior to his first ever Manchester United goal, and had thus far failed to emulate Neville, Butt and Giggs in breaking into Ferguson's starting XI. Neville had dislodged Paul Parker at right-back by December 1994, while Giggs had been a first-team regular for three years. But he would soon join his esteemed colleagues in making a name for himself when he popped up with his debut goal for the club, albeit a scruffy one, in the 4-0 Champions League romping of Galatasaray in December 1994. "I went into it not having a clue what to expect. About half an hour in, I scored my first senior goal for United,"
Beckham recalled of the moment in his 2003 autobiography.
"Eric Cantona was the first player to get to me. I was buzzing that much, he had to fight me off in the end. I just wouldn't let go of him. I've scored a goal and I'm celebrating with Eric Cantona."
It would be the first of 85 United goals for Beckham.
