He is admired by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, but it appears as though Manchester United and Tottenham lead the way for his signature, and the Lilywhites are hoping to ruffle Ferguson's feathers again after signing former Red Devil Zeki Fryers last week, which the veteran United manager wants the FA to investigate after accusing the club of "blatant manipulation". But United are confident of landing Zaha, and Ferguson wants the opportunity to speak personally with the player in an effort to persuade him that his future lies at Old Trafford. Any deal could hinge however on Tottenham and United's willingness to allow the player to remain at Selhurt Park until the summer, with Palace currently 3rd in the Championship at the moment and pushing for promotion.
