Man Utd Transfer News: Red Devils Reject PSG's Adnan Januzaj Bid

Manchester United have rejected a 'significant offer' from Paris Saint-Germain for midfield starlet Adnan Januzaj, according to the Guardian. PSG were at the head of the queue for Januzaj's services earlier in the season shortly before the 18-year-old signed his first professional contract at United. And they have refused to abandon their pursuit, despite the teenager pledging his long-term future to the English champions last October. The French club's interest in Januzaj comes at a time when United are struggling, out of the two domestic cup competitions and 14 points adrift in the Premier League title race. Saint-Germain were hoping to take advantage of their perilous situation, which could see them miss out on Champions League football next season, but United have refused to sell. The Red Devils have made it clear they are not interested in negotiating about a player manager David Moyes believes could go on to become one of the modern day greats. Januzaj has made 21 appearances so far this season, scoring three goals, and has been one of the few positives at Old Trafford during what has been an otherwise-disappointing campaign. Though the rookie midfielder appears to have committed himself to United, he has still yet to decide on his international future. The Belgian-born star can also represent Albania through his ethnic heritage; Turkey through his grandparents and Serbia due to the disputed status of his parents' homeland, Kosovo.
