Man Utd Transfer News: Shinji Kagawa Completes Old Trafford Move

Shinji Kagawa has officially completed his move to Manchester United from German side Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee.

Shinji Kagawa has officially completed his move to Manchester United from German side Borussia Dortmund for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old signed a lengthy four-year deal after passing his medical today. Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has spoke of his joy at signing the Japanese international midfielder:
"Shinji is an exciting young midfielder with great skill, vision and a good eye for goal. I am delighted he has chosen to come to United. I believe he will make an impact upon the team very quickly as he is suited to United's style of play. We are all looking forward to working with him."
United have now completed the deal of two players this summer, Kagawa and former Crewe youngster Nick Powell. These two signings suggest that Ferguson is willing to admit the midfield needed a boost after a trophy less season and with the addition of these two players suggests the veteran boss is building for the future. Manchester United have signed the player for an initial fee of £12 million yet this could rise to £17 million depending on his success at the club. The club have signed the player to not only increase the power of the midfielder but also to attract more Asian revenue to Old Trafford.
