Manchester United have been linked with a trio of Juventus midfielders this month. David Moyes reportedly went on a scouting expedition at the weekend with the Scot spotted in Sardinia to watch Juve beat Cagliari 4-1, and had his eye on more than a couple of Bianconeri stars. One of which is Claudio Marchisio. Marchisio has been linked with a move to United with increasing frequency over the past two weeks and, due to the fact his appearances at Juventus Stadium have begun to dwindle, a move this month could be on the cards. The 27-year-old's strengths are his passing abilities and, as a defensive midfielder, could be seen as a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick, 32. Unfortunately for United it is thought to be unlikely that the Italian champions would sell this month.
