Man Utd Transfers: 10 More Players Louis van Gaal MUST Sign Before Deadline Day

Louis van Gaal isn't finished in the summer transfer window yet.

Manchester United may well be the biggest spenders of the summer transfer window, having spent £131.7 million since last season on left-back Luke Shaw, midfielder Ander Herrera, defender Marcos Rojo and his Argentina teammate Angel Di Maria, but there is still plenty of work left to be done at Old Trafford before Monday's deadline day. The transfer window will crash shut until January in a little under four days and while United have certainly compensated for the horrors of last summer - in which they signed only Marouane Fellaini this time 12 months ago - they cannot be 100% pleased with their wheeling's and dealings as we approach next week's cut-off point. The likes of Rio Ferdinand and club-captain Nemanja Vidic have not been fully replaced, the experience of Ryan Giggs has gone while more worrying still is the gaping gap in the centre of their midfield, with Fellaini, Tom Cleverley and Anderson ineffectual and stalwarts such as Darren Fletcher and Michael Carrick now considered unreliable. United may well have broken the British transfer record to land Real Madrid superstar Angel Di Maria this week, but his purchase is merely a sprinkling of icing on top of a cake that is still half baked. More new faces need to come in before midnight on Monday and here we take a look at 10 More Players Louis van Gaal MUST Sign Before Transfer Deadline Day.
