10. Everton - Gremio

For those who kept up with the recent Copa America, one of the stars of the entire tournament was Brazil’s Everton.

At just 23 years of age, Everton Sousa Soares has marked himself out as one of South America’s fastest rising talents, and it seems only a matter of time before Everton follows in the footsteps of so many of his compatriots and makes the big jump to European football.

Known as The Little Onion - because who doesn’t love a great nickname? – Everton has become a symbol of hope for Brazil fans desperate to see a new era of beautiful football ushered in for the national team. Everton’s international debut came last year, yet it was at this year’s Cope America that the direct forward really captured the imagination of the Brazilian public. Not least by scoring the opening goal in Brazil’s 3-1 Copa America final victory over Peru.

Already attracting interest from some of Europe’s most notable clubs, Manchester United would be advised to go in for Everton sooner rather than later. And while it may seem more glamorous right now to go to a Manchester City, a Bayern Munich, or a Barcelona, knowing that he would be guaranteed a regular place in United’s starting XI surely makes the prospect of moving to Old Trafford an appealing one.
