Man Utd Transfers: 5 Big Names Moyes Is In Danger Of Losing In The Summer

5. Patrice Evra

French left-back Patrice Evra has been key figure at Old Trafford since his arrival in 2006. He has gained a formidable reputation in the Premier League for his attacking prowess, with his willingness to get forward at every opportunity. However, recent years have seen Evra become less able to go forward and recover back to defend as quickly as he once could, and with his contract expiring in the summer, he could find himself looking for a new club. It was no secret that Moyes attempted to bring England left-back Leighton Baines with him from Everton, however these efforts to sign him came to nothing in the summer. And, in January, Everton effectively killed off Moyes' interest in Baines by signing him to a new deal. With the deal dead in the water, the question now is whether Evra will get a new deal to keep him at Old Trafford, or will Moyes turn his attentions to finding another replacement. One man the could well be seen as Evra's replacement is Southampton teenager Luke Shaw. The youngster has been particularly impressive for the Saints since they regained their top flight place, and interest in him has also come from Chelsea, as well as United. And, there is also FC Porto's Alex Sandro, who has caught many eyes in Europe this season with his impressive performances for Porto. A move for either of these players could spell the end for Evra at Manchester United, but they are currently running the risk of losing Evra for free without having a potential replacement for him in place.
