Man Utd Transfers: 5 Left-Backs David Moyes Must Consider Before Window Closes

4. Ricardo Rodriguez

If David Moyes is to enter the market for a new left-back this month, one option available to him is Ricardo Rodriguez of Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg. According to reports in Spain, United see the 21-year-old as an ideal replacement for the ageing Evra, while Chelsea too are interested as they likewise seek to replace Ashley Cole. The Switzerland international has already been capped 18 times by his country and is considered a real talent, and is also known as an attacking full-back similar to Evra. Rodriguez has scored three goals and has as many assists for Wolfsburg this season and isn't afraid to forge forward to contribute to the attack as a wing-back. For those reasons he would seem the heir apparent to Evra and a player Moyes must consider, though the early indications are any move isn't likely to happen until after the World Cup.
