Media Image LtdManchester United may only have signed Luke Shaw from Southampton this summer, but they are now in search of another left-back following Patrice Evra's decision to move to Juventus. The veteran fullback has told club officials he wants to join the Italian side, but has stopped short of handing in a transfer request. Shaw became the world's fourth-most expensive defender when United paid £27 million for his services at the end of June, but, following the departure of Alexander Buttner to Dynamo Moscow, is set to be the Red Devil's only available option in the left-back position. It's a headache for incoming manager Louis van Gaal, who must have thought he had consolidated the left-side of his defence by acquiring a player who has been tipped by many to go on and become one of the world's best in his position. However, now he has to go back into the transfer market and sign another player to offer cover to Shaw, who is still young, and who ideally will bring in experience as well as immediate class. United had been linked with several fullbacks until they signed Shaw last month, some of whom are still available. Here then, we take a look at 5 more left-backs the Red Devils must consider signing this summer. Click 'next' to get started.
