1. Leighton Baines
The favourite to replace Manchester Uniteds Patrice Evra is Everton left-back, Leighton Baines. The 28-year-old England international has been a solid member of Evertons defence for several years and since David Moyes has made the switch from Goodison Park to Old Trafford to replace Sir Alex Ferguson,
rumours are circulating that Baines could be following his former manager. Baines started every single one of Evertons
38 league games, proving he is not only favoured by David Moyes but he can handle the busy schedule that United will face next season. With Evra being linked with a move to big spenders AS Monaco for a reported £10 million, adding an additional few million could well secure Baines as a Manchester United player. Baines has been on the radar of former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, for a few seasons now and with constant speculation surrounding the future of Evertons number three he could well be making his way to the home of the Premier League Champions.
