Man Utd Transfers: 5 Players Who Should Go On Loan In 2013/14

4. Angelo Henriquez

The United scouts must have seen a great deal of early promise in Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez, as his transfer to the club was arranged back in 2009 when he was only fifteen. It took three years for all of the paperwork to clear, allowing the youngster to finally make the trip to Old Trafford last year, where he immediately impressed for the reserves side before being loaned to Wigan Athletic, where he played only four league games but picked up an FA Cup Winners medal as an unused substitute in Wigan€™s final victory. A full international (with four goals in two appearances thus far) for the Chilean national side (who are in a prime position to qualify for next year€™s World Cup in Brazil), Henriquez could have a big future ahead of him if he plays his cards right. Whether that future will be at Old Trafford remains to be seen, given the amount of talent that the club already possesses up front, but Henriquez will do no harm to his prospects with another loan spell away from the club, particularly given that he has already proven himself capable of playing at Premier League level.
