4. Shirt Sales
One of the first impacts of a new signing is shirt sales. Top clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona sell millions of shirts a season, with fans spending ridiculous amounts of money on the replicas along with the name printing. If Manchester United signed Cristiano Ronaldo, shirt sales would go through the roof. Millions of fans worldwide would rush out to buy a new United strip along with Ronaldo on the back. The revenue the club would make from the deal would help cover a main proportion of the deal itself. You cant go to a game without seeing v.Persie, 20 since he signed last summer, just like you couldn't go to a game in the late 90s without seeing Beckham, 7. Fans from any club like to have the newest kit with their favourite players on the back and it would be no different in Ronaldo re-joined United.
