5. Victor Wanyama
Celtic's defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama has been a long-term transfer target of Manchester United and was scouted personally by Sir Alex Ferguson back in January as the veteran Scotsman
watched him in action in the 4-0 win over Dundee United earlier in the season. It was believed that Ferguson was then plotting a £10 million swoop for the Kenyan international but that decision will now fall squarely on the shoulders of new man David Moyes,
who was interested in bringing the midfielder to Goodison Park. Wanyama can play both as a defensive midfielder and centreback which would appear to make him the ideal summer signing considering his versatility could help United out of a sticky situation if one of Rio Ferdinand or Nemanja Vidic became injured.
