Man Utd Transfers: 6 Deals Van Gaal Could Do Today

6. Juan Cuadrado

Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado enjoyed a very good World Cup and has been the subject of considerable speculation already this summer, including most recently Barcelona. Despite that, Fiorentina owner Andrea Della Valle has announced that Cuadrado will remain with the Italians. Man Utd however remain linked, and they could do with his form, having seen him score 11 goals and assisted five in Serie A last season. And the good news is that the player isn't as staunchly committed to staying put as his owner might suggest:
"My future does not depend on me, there is still time until the market closes, no? I don't know."

At the World Cup, Cuadrado stood toe-to-toe with Toni Kroos for assists, setting up four goals for his team-mates, and has scored 19 goals and provided 16 more assists in his Fiorentina career to date.

The club's commitment to the player though might make Colombian an expensive prospect, but he would undoubtedly be worth it.
