Patrice Evras departure from Manchester United appears to be moving ever closer. The Frenchman is out of contract in the summer, with a move to Inter Milan looking on the cards. The Serie A side have already agreed a deal for United captain Nemanja Vidic. Since joining United in 2006 from Monaco, Evra has been ever-present in the first team. During his time at Old Trafford he has claimed five Premier League titles, three League Cups and the Champions League. The Frenchman was also named in the PFA Team of the Year three times. However, the last of those PFA appearances came in 2010, demonstrating how Evras form has been on the decline. The 32-year-olds outspoken personality may also make him a candidate to be sold by Van Gaal, simply because the two may well clash. After almost 400 appearances for United, the left backs spell in Manchester may finally be over.
