4. Antonio Valencia
Like many of the United squad, 2013/14 was not a brilliant season for Antonio Valencia. During his first few years for the club Valencia was sensational, making the PFA Team of the Year in 2010 and being voted Manchester Uniteds Player of the Year in 2012. However, the wingers form has dipped recently. At the start of 2012, he took the famous number seven shirt, as worn by Cristiano Ronaldo and George Best. An indifferent campaign saw him drop the number 12 months later. This season there were glimpses of the Ecuadorians talent, but not on a regular basis. He used to be renowned for his ability to beat a man and whip a dangerous ball in, but with United often deploying only one upfront it is becoming a wasted skill. Whats more, Van Gaal is reportedly eyeing fellow countryman Arjen Robben, a move which could mean the end of Valencia.
