Man Utd Transfers: 9 Sub-Par Players Who Need To Be Sold
2. Fabio
He wants to leave to pursue first-team football and I can see absolutely no reason why United would want to keep him on their books. He's not good enough, at all. He's now third choice left-back behind Patrice Evra and Alex Buttner. Last year he had an injury plagued season at Queens Park Rangers and also suffered the heartbreak of relegation. He's still young but he should be taking his career elsewhere. Everyone wants to play at the highest level but the fact of the matter is not everyone is good enough and Fabio isn't even playing anyway. David Moyes also chased Leighton Baines in the Summer, as well as Fabio Coentrao to add to his ranks, the latter he seems keen to sign in January. Clearly he wants to delve into the transfer market to secure a player for this position, which raises question marks about those ahead of him let alone Fabio himself. With not much over 50 appearances during his time at the club his contribution has been extremely minimal. Fabio can get his career back on track if he leaves, he's wasted at United.
