Does anyone even remember him playing for Manchester United? The Frenchman came and left by the blink of an eye. He did make 29 appearances in 2015/16 season under Louis van Gaal, but couldn't replicate his Southampton heroics.

Schneiderlin, who was thought could bolster the midfield with his energy and dynamism, struggled to make the step up as the demands of playing for a club as big as Manchester United proved just too much for him.

In the following season, he was essentially frozen out by the Dutch manager. Schneiderlin clocked a total of only 147 minutes during the first-half of the 2016/17 campaign, starting only thrice.

He joined Everton in the subsequent January transfer window for £24 million in search of greener pastures, after just a year and a half at the Old Trafford club.
